FIRE PLANES Co-op Guide

Six seats, one wildfire — how to stop scooping the same lake.

Co-op and Parties

FIRE PLANES looks like a solo flight game until a badge or a Town Defense wave reminds you it is a crew. Servers cap at six. Voice chat is not supported. Average playtime sits near ten minutes. Most Fires Extinguished requires at least three players. Town Defender wants ten waves of contribution. This page is how to use those six seats without turning them into six empty tanks over the same pond.

The badge list itself is on badges. Mode votes are on Game Modes. Flight basics stay on Getting Started.

Why six is a real number

Rolimon’s session stats hover near four players on average, which means public queues are often a mix of first-timers and people who already own the amphibian. One inverted newcomer is visible in a six-stack. Two competent scoopers can cover a village. Six people all chasing the biggest flame is how the east street dies.

You cannot assign classes in a menu. You assign jobs in text chat. Call lakes and streets. Example lines live on Protect Towns.

Three jobs that actually work

  • Scooper. Stays on the lake path, delivers full tanks. Starter airframe is fine. The skill is How to Scoop Water, not a pass.
  • Dumper. Waits on station over the town, takes the full tank, holds Space on the fire head. Amphibian preferred. Geometry: drop planner.
  • Rover. Extra seats. Fill holes, crash-replace, or fly the helicopter onto a rooftop.

If all six scoop, nobody dumps. If all six orbit the town empty, nobody has water. Pair the jobs. That is the entire co-op meta.

How to stack for each badge

Welcome / Extinguish a Fire. Solo is fine. Join and dump once.

Most Fires Extinguished. Bring at least two friends. Vote Mega Fire if two people can scoop in smoke. You need 100+ cells in that round and the highest extinguish count. Do not grief teammates to pad — you still need them in the server. Award rate sits near 20%.

Town Defender. Chat “10 waves” before the vote. Town Defense is not a troll pick on a lobby of first-timers. Early waves teach the street grid; waves 7–10 want overlapping tanks. Award rate sits near 0.7%. If the village is gone on wave six, reset. You are not farming a ghost town.

Public-server etiquette

  • Do not dump on a cell someone is already covering unless they missed.
  • Do not open the shop during wave nine.
  • Do not advertise loadstrings. See script safety.
  • Do not vote Town Defense as a joke.
  • If Mega Fire wins and you wanted Realistic, fly Mega Fire or leave. AFK in a lake wastes a seat someone else needed for the three-player badge.

If you are the skilled one in a lobby of newcomers, take the scooper job and type one line about invert pitch. Point them at the gear menu even if you only say “gear, invert pitch.” Details: Controls and tips.

Passes and parties

Double Money is per account. Your stack does not inherit 2x. Buy it after you already finish rounds, not as a group tax. There are no VIP servers on this universe. You cannot buy a private six-stack. Official identity: links.

Cash still arrives at round end for everyone who contributed. A tanker plus a helicopter plus four starters is a legal mix. Rankings: plane tier list. Do not all buy the slow amphibian on the same night if invert pitch still owns half the party.

A planned session

  1. Queue together. Confirm invert pitch before takeoff.
  2. Vote Realistic once so newcomers can scoop.
  3. Vote Mega Fire for the volume badge if three people stayed.
  4. Vote Town Defense last, with a scooper and a dumper named in chat.
  5. Stay until payout. Then check the shop. Repeat.

Codes will not fill a party. There are none. Maps regenerate every round, so the plan is jobs, not a pin — maps. If max players ever change from six, the changelog will say so. As of 14 August 2026 the cap is six, voice is off, and text is the radio.
