FIRE PLANES Maps

There is no fixed airport. Every round builds a new wildfire, lake, and town.

Maps and Terrain

FIRE PLANES does not ship a world map you can memorize. The Roblox description is explicit: maps are procedurally generated and change each round. That is the whole geography lesson. This page is how to read a layout you have never seen in the thirty seconds after takeoff, so you still find water and still save the town.

If you came here looking for a labeled atlas, Trello pins, or a seed list, those do not exist for this experience. Official links we could verify sit on the links hub. Flight basics stay on Getting Started.

What every generated map still has

Across public sessions and official thumbnails, the generator always gives you three things:

  1. Water. Lakes and ponds large enough to sit in. The refill rule is contact, not proximity — How to Scoop Water.
  2. Fuel. Forest, grass, and ridgelines the fire can walk. Empty woodland is pretty and usually a bad first dump.
  3. People. Town grids with red or pale roofs. Poko described the goal as saving physical people. Those clusters are the scoring tell in every mode.

Smoke, wind-looking drift, and fire-cell size change with the vote. The three ingredients do not. Game Modes explains how Realistic, Town Defense, and Mega Fire change the problem, not the scoop button.

First thirty seconds

After the vote you are already flying. Do not dump the starter tank on the first orange you see.

  1. Pick a horizon. Note where the biggest lake sits relative to the biggest roof cluster.
  2. Ignore the prettiest flame if it is on a ridge with no houses.
  3. Climb enough that a missed pass is a go-around. Superlex’s session is the cautionary tale for low inverted flight — Controls.
  4. Name the lake out loud or in chat: “lake south, town north.” Six-player servers need that call. Players hub.

Procedural does not mean random noise. You will start to see repeating grammar: water in a bowl, town on a flat, fire walking the treeline between them. That corridor is the job.

Town Defense layouts

Town Defense still generates a new village. The badge is “survive all 10 waves,” not “learn this street.” What stays constant is the targeting rule from Protect Towns: houses first, refill path second, distant forest last. If the generator put the lake on the far side of the burn, that lake is still your tank. Do not invent a closer puddle that will not fill.

Wave later, the fire line is a moving map. Treat the approaching head as the new “north.” Your dump pass should cross the street grid, not the souvenir hillside.

Mega Fire layouts

Mega Fire hides water in smoke. Official art shows yellow airframes over orange cells with the town already in frame. Copy that: you are allowed to lose a hillside. You are not allowed to lose the lake. If two lakes spawned, scoop the upwind one so you are not landing in the cell you meant to kill.

Volume farmers chasing Most Fires Extinguished still need a town rule. One hundred cells on ash with a burned village is a hollow round.

Landmarks that are not landmarks

Because the map dies when the round ends, do not write a wiki pin for “the big rock.” Useful landmarks last one session:

  • The lake you just used.
  • The street that is actually on fire.
  • The teammate already on a pass (do not double-dump — drop planner).

Trees and ridgelines are collidable. They will stop a low amphibian. The large tanker in official thumbnails is a boat with wings; it wants room. The orange helicopter can hover a rooftop the generator tucked against a hill — helicopter guide.

Why there is no seed / Trello map

a_mb0385 has not published a public Trello, seed browser, or layout gallery we can attribute. Thumbnail art is marketing, not a fixed place. If a Discord “map pack” appears, treat it as unofficial until it is linked from the Roblox description. This wiki will not host a fake atlas.

When a patch adds a persistent lobby island or a named biome, it will be dated on the changelog. Until then, geography is a round skill: find water, find roofs, fly the corridor. Cash still arrives at round end — Earn Money Fast — and the shop still sits behind the plane icon, not behind a map unlock.

Practice drill

Vote Realistic. Spend the first minute without dumping. Circle once. Point at water, point at town, then scoop. If you cannot do that on a fresh layout, you do not have a map problem. You have a panic problem. The money planner will not save a pilot who dumps the first tank on a ridge they will never see again.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for FIRE PLANES pilots.

Is there a FIRE PLANES world map?

No. Maps are procedurally generated each round. Learn to find a lake and a town, not a named airport.

Is there an official Trello for layouts?

Not that we can verify. Official URLs are on the links hub.

Do lakes always spawn?

Public play always has scoopable water, but it may be hidden in Mega Fire smoke. Turn early and commit to a real lake, not a decorative puddle.
