FIRE PLANES Getting Started

A clean first hour: takeoff, scoop, drop, cash, and the shop.

Getting Started

FIRE PLANES throws you into a burning map with almost no tutorial. You spawn, the server votes a mode, and a plane is already yours. That is exciting until the nose tucks into a pine stand and the tank is empty. This page is the day-one route we wish the question-mark menu spelled out: how a round works, what the HUD icons do, and which mistakes burn ten minutes of playtime.

The experience is free on Roblox, created 3 February 2026 by a_mb0385, last patched 14 August 2026 as of this writing. Servers hold six pilots. Maps are generated per round, so there is no fixed airport to memorize. Your job is aerial firefighting: fill water, hit fire, keep towns standing, collect cash, buy a better airframe. If that loop still feels fuzzy after this page, jump to Controls or How to Scoop Water.

Join, vote, take off

Open the Roblox experience and wait for a server that is not already mid-disaster if you can help it. Before engines, the group votes among Realistic, Town Defense, and Mega Fire. For a first flight, vote Realistic. Town Defense is a ten-wave defense of houses and unlocks the rare Town Defender badge. Mega Fire is the chaotic money map once you can scoop without crashing.

After the vote you are in the air. WASD pitches and rolls. Hold Space to dump water. That is the entire combat kit. There is no landing-gear minigame and no ATC. Altitude is life: Superlex’s session showed that flying too low turns a missed drop into a crash, and higher passes forgive bad timing.

Read the four HUD icons

Community notes from the June 2026 Superlex video match what you still see in the UI:

  • Plane icon — shop for airframes. Early on this listed a starter and a large tanker near $500,000.
  • Cart icon — Robux shop, including the Double Money pass at 199 Robux (2x end-of-round cash).
  • Gear icon — settings. Invert pitch lives here. Turn it on if W dives.
  • Question mark — in-game how to play.

Do not buy Robux cash on day one. Finish a Realistic round, learn one scoop, then look at the money planner.

The loop that actually scores

  1. Find a lake or pond. Procedural maps always include water, but not always under your nose.
  2. Descend until the hull kisses the surface. Comments on public videos agree: you refill by going into the water, not by hovering high above it.
  3. Climb out with a full tank. Do not dump on takeoff.
  4. Line up a fire cell that threatens houses or people, not a random treeline in the empty quarter.
  5. Hold Space on a stable, slightly nose-down pass. One long dump beats five panicked taps.
  6. Repeat until the round ends. Cash lands when the round settles, not per splash.

Poko’s overview is the video in the middle of this page: you will see the vote screen, the first dump, a failed water landing, and the shop prices as they existed when the game spiked in June 2026. Treat shop numbers as a snapshot; the changelog tracks later additions such as extra airframes and the helicopter visible in official thumbnails.

What to chase in the first hour

  • Badge: Welcome (join) and Extinguish a Fire (one successful put-out). Both are freebies. See badges.
  • Skill: one crash-free scoop and one drop that visibly kills a cell.
  • Setting: invert pitch decided, not left on default confusion.
  • Money: enough to feel the round payout, not enough to impulse-buy Robux packs.
  • Knowledge: which mode you actually like. If Town Defense keeps winning the vote, read Protect Towns before the tenth wave wipes the village.

Common first-session failures

The plane will not fill. You are too high or you skimmed a river that the game does not treat as a scoop zone. Commit to a lake. Console players in comments said proximity is more generous on gamepad; PC players usually need a real splashdown. Details in How to Scoop Water.

W goes the wrong way. Default pitch copies a real stick: pull back to climb. If you play arcade games, invert it. Full table on Controls.

You dump on empty forest. Poko called the goal saving physical people. Fire that is walking into a town is worth more attention than a pretty treeline. The drop planner is the short version of that geometry.

You fly the tanker like a starter. The $500k amphibian is slower with a bigger tank. It is a truck. Do not expect the same turn rate. Rankings live on the plane tier list.

You solo queue for Most Fires Extinguished. That badge needs 100+ fires and at least three players, plus you have to lead the round. Bring friends from the players hub.

After the first round

Check codes (none confirmed in September 2026), skim Earn Money Fast if the tanker still looks impossible, and bookmark Updates so a shop patch does not surprise you. Official play link and creator profile are on the links hub. If someone offers a loadstring that auto-scoops, read script safety first — there were no dedicated public FIRE PLANES scripts on the usual boards when we built this wiki.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for FIRE PLANES pilots.

Is FIRE PLANES free to play?

Yes. The Roblox experience is free. Optional Robux buys include cash packs and the 199 Robux Double Money pass.

Which mode should I vote on my first join?

Vote Realistic. Town Defense is a ten-wave house defense and Mega Fire is better after you can scoop on command.

How do I drop water?

Hold Space (or the on-screen drop control on mobile) while over a fire. A stable pass dumps more useful water than frantic taps.

When should I buy the big plane?

After you can scoop without crashing. The large amphibian was listed near $500,000 in June 2026. Use the money planner instead of buying cash on day one.
